| Attach the parachute tool to the vise as shown. | Attach the loop of the hackle pliers to the hook on the end of the parachute tool. Attach the tip of the hackle pliers to the parachute post. | |

|
| Tie in the hackle at the base of the parachute post. | Wrap the hackle around the parachute post and tie off when finished. |
